Developing a cell therapy: from the laboratory to the hospital

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is a progressive disease of the lungs for which no therapy currently exists. In this lecture, the speaker will explain the steps taken in the process of developing a new cell therapy for this disease. The process described begins with the original idea, followed by the experimental work, and culminates in the first tests on patients.
