The world of medicinal plants is absolutely fascinating where science and popular culture come together.
In this moment, when natural therapies are revalued on the one hand, new technologies are under debate and new regulations are questioning the continuity of herbolaries on the other hand, surprisingly enough, the interest in medicinal plants is in permanent increase.
The Residence for Researchers CSIC- Generalitat, Government of Catalonia, echoing these concerns and debates, compromises deeply with Ciutat Vella District social reality and participates at Sant Ponç Fair exposition, traditionally known as a place where medicinal herbs, syrups, preserved fruit and apicultural products are sold.
