Published for the "Puccinians interpreters at Liceo Opera House" exposition, organized by the Residence for Researchers, Liceo Opera House and Milá i Fontanals Music department (CSIC), held on September 29th to October 16th, 1999, at the Residence for Researchers Auditorium.
In autumn 1999, a cultural event of great importance took place in Barcelona: the Liceo Opera House reopening.
It reborns from its ashes as one of the most modern opera houses in the world, to fulfil Catalan society needs on the one hand, keeping operatic life on in a wider and more updated way and, on the other hand, providing Catalonia with the adequate cultural facilities to increase its international prestige.
